In 2003, AWIB undertook an extensive study of the fire protection industry following the liability crisis that hit Australia at the time. We discovered that many organisations could not afford the level of insurance required to continue to safely operate their business.
Our analysis also revealed that the fire protection industry was widely misunderstood by the insurance industry. After 20 years, we understand the industry, we offer tailored insurance solutions and we have quick response times. We combine our policy of always putting the client first with a deep understanding of the science of insurance. This allows us to broker better policy conditions for our clients. Because each client has different needs, we rarely offer insurance “off-the shelf”. Our approach has always been to tailor insurance to our clients’ real needs and in their best interests.
