Alex Hoyle

Executive Director, Guardian Mechanical and Building Services

As Executive Director, Alex Hoyle is responsible for the overall technical and financial performance of Guardian. Prior to his appointment as director in 2002, Alex was in charge of operations and designs in the company.

Alex has over 15 years of experience working in the HVAC and fire services industry and now undertakes leadership roles in multi-disciplinary teams in developing specifications on major upgrade projects such as shopping centre BCA upgrades in addition to his repertoire.

Alex’s commitment to technical excellence and focus on building client relationships has contributed to the growth of the firm and has helped establish the firms’ competitive presence in the building industry.

Alex completed the Certificate of Competency for Fire Damper Installation in 2006. Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Technology Sydney in 2012 and possesses a Diploma of Engineering Practice. Alex is currently a member of the Chartered institute of Building Services Engineers, a member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. and a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
