Emission (not so) Impossible – An update on the Fire Protection Permit Scheme from the Department

The Fire Protection Permit Scheme is marking its 20th anniversary this year. During that time, Australia has met or exceeded all its phase-out and phase-down obligations under the Montreal Protocol. To further support this, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) has implemented key initiatives such as the Education and Engagement program, the new licence portal, and upcoming mobile app for licence holders.

Join us in this session for an update on recent achievements in the scheme, uptake of the engagement program, a breakdown of some findings in the field, our future focus to reduce emissions, and what these initiatives mean for you!
