Terms and Conditions

FPA Australia Member Vouchers

Use of FPA Australia member vouchers for events is limited to 1 x $50 voucher per registration. Vouchers must be redeemed at the time of the payment and applied against the registration. Vouchers can only be redeemed by financial members. Any remaining amount after purchases is not redeemable for cash or credit.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed against social events, charity events or events not hosted by FPA Australia. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Tradeshow

The Tradeshow hall is open during the below times:

  • Tuesday 13 May 2025: Open from 6.00pm – 7.30pm
  • Wednesday 14 May 2025: Open from 8.00am – 5.00pm
  • Thursday 15 May 2025: open from 8.00am – 5.00pm

CPD Points

Delegates attending the conference sessions can earn up to 15 CPD hours:

Wednesday 14 May 2025: 7.5 CPD hours

Thursday 15 May 2025: 7.5 CPD hours

FPA Australia Membership Registrations

Individuals must be current members of FPA Australia at the time of the conference in order to qualify for member registration rates. Not a member? Insurance and Liability

The organisers do not take responsibility for any individual, medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are advised to secure their own insurance policies as necessary. Delegate registration fees do not provide such insurance coverage.

Merchant Fee

If you select to pay via credit card a merchant fee will be added to your registration fee. VISA & MasterCard 1.75%, AMEX & International cards 2.9%.

Registration & Social Function Cancellation

Cancellations must be notified to [email protected] by 1 March 2025 to receive a refund. Refunds will be provided minus merchant fees, administration fees and currency transaction fees.

Cancellations after this date will not be accepted, however delegates may transfer their registrations to another person.

Name Badges

All delegates will receive a name badge upon arrival at the conference. This badge is the official pass and must be worn at all times to gain entry to the tradeshow hall, conference sessions, social functions and offsite tours, depending on the type of registration you have purchased.

Dress Code

Please note smart casual attire is appropriate for conference sessions and social functions. A jacket may be necessary for air-conditioned meeting rooms. The dress code for the Conference and Awards Gala dinner is black tie.

Privacy Policy

The Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) takes great care to protect the privacy of information supplied by individuals or organisations in accordance with the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can read FPA Australia’s Privacy Policy HERE.

Photography Policy

Photographs will be taken throughout the event for advertising, publicity, commercial, promotional or other internal or external business purposes. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken please contact the event office – [email protected]

Content

The content and material of all seminars will remain the copyrighted property of FPA Australia for reproductions and distribution purposes. Conference sessions cannot be filmed or recorded for personal use outside of the designated event, unless with prior approval of FPA Australia. FPA Australia reserves the exclusive rights regarding the management, delivery and conduct of the event.

Registration Conditions

Completion of the registration form is an acceptance of the Fire Australia 2024 Registration Terms & Conditions as published on the Fire Australia website. The organiser’s decision is final. FPA Australia reserves the right to refuse any registration, advertising, sponsorship, or exhibition application.
