Timely and accurate characterisation of potential bushfire impact and radiant heat flux is essential for understanding and mitigating risk on vulnerable built structures, especially at the wildland-urban interface. Inferno is a new system designed to provide pinpoint meter-scale accuracy for bushfire spread and resulting radiant heat flux, including the AS3959 standard, on building footprints for planning and risk assessment. This presentation will showcase the system with demonstration of fire spread and radiant heat flux evaluation for several scenarios, demonstrating the speed, accuracy and ease-of-use of the system.
