Fire safety at caravan parks

This presentation will cover an outline of the CFA’s Caravan Park Guideline 2023 and how the CFA is working with owner/occupiers, the caravan park industry and other stakeholder to mitigate fire related risks associated with caravan parks and land lease retirement developments in Victoria.

The 2023 version of the Guidelines builds upon the CFA Caravan Park Fire Safety Guidelines 2012. This updated Guideline has been developed and refined based on the findings from CFA’s extensive inspection and fire reporting regime across the State. These Guidelines respond to issues identified within caravan parks with respect to current regulatory requirements, to ensure the intent of the Objectives and Performance Measures within the guideline are met.
