Watermist Fire protection of custodial facilities

For a very long time the only means of fire fighting in custodial facilities was sprinklers and hose reels. With advances in fire protection technologies watermist fire suppression has proven to be more effective, safer, and use less water than these older traditional methods. In this talk by Howard Tomlin we will delve into the world of watermist and see how using this technology is beneficial to the custodial facilities in ways which were unprecedented until the UK replaced all of its hose reels with Watermist units. Watermist has begun to be used in prisons in Australia and we will talk about why this is the way forward for fire protection of custodial facilities.
